The Caro Chair is a reflection of Roskey's deep love of the vernacular chairs found throughout many cultures. These primitive chairs often have simple lines and strong personalities reflected in the design and construction techniques of their often amateur makers. Caro looks towards the Welsh stick chairs and the American ladder back as its primary influences, yet maintains modern scale and comfortability.
